What a busy Saturday, our busiest bake off!!! Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered & thanks to those who just popped in to see if we had any extra bread! And thank you everyone who waited for their baked goodies as they were baking. We di...d our Portuguese custard tarts & ciabatta rolls for our Saturday bake off. With that we did our usual rising menu baked goodies like Beer bread, white sourdough handcrafted loaves, Portuguese rolls, Olive & sundried tom loaves, Pesto & feta loaf, White & Rye loaves, Fruit Buns, etc We hope you all enjoyed them!

Saturday Bake Off - 03 Aug 2013

Awesome... thank you! More new clients have become part of this amazing venture. Our bake off was FRUIT BUNS & CHEESE AND ONION TIN LOAF. Once again we baked through the night to make sure freshly baked goodies are available to you. I hope you all enjoyed your goodies. See ya all soon!

Bakery Open Day - 27th July 2013

Thank you everyone who supported us on this awesome day! It was great seeing you all & having a chat! And especially a great thank you to Christina who nearly brought her whole family to our open day, it was great chatting to ya all. We baked various breads such as Olive & sundried tom, beer bread, garlic & rosemary foccaccia, spelt bread, sourdough loaves, rolls, etc We also did sweet bakes such as shortbread, toffee, blueberry pies, portuguese milk mini tarts, south african milk tart, cakes, cupcakes, our famous chelsea buns, hot cross buns, etc. We hope to have another open day soon... watch our facebook for updates.

Saturday Bake Off 13 Jul 13

A busy start to a succesfull finish! We had a busy evening ahead cleaning, preparing & baking for our Saturday clients. It was Catherine & Phil's daughter's birthday and we prepared rolls, cake, pizza, etc for their party. It was a great pleasure doing this order with our regular & new client's orders. We always feel part of someone else life because we make them food and we hope they will make great memories from the baked good we make them. Our SAT BAKE OFF item for this week was Malt Fruit Loaf. I enjoyed making it and it left smells of warm treacle & spices in our home. I hope everyone enjoy it!!!

What's new?

Thank you everyone for your support yesterday at our Heathfest stall! It was great seeing ya all! The weather was awesome & brought many, many people to this fab festival. Our chelsea buns (120 of them), breads & all our baked rolls sold out & people wanted more!!! And also thank you to our regular clients who we could not bake for on Saturday due to focusing on the Heathfest. We are now back to our usual baking... Monday & Fridays BREAD & BREAD ROLLS only & Saturday everything including our breads & rolls & our bake off item. Pre-order by calling, texting or emailing us by the latest 6pm the day before. I will update our website & facebook on which once off baked items will be highlighted for Saturday's Bake Off. Have a lovely sunny week a head, we hope it is beautiful for you!!!

Home Bakery Open Day - Saturday 29th June 2013

Thank you EVERYONE who supported our OPEN HOME BAKERY yesterday (Saturday, 29 Jun. IT WAS A SUCCESS!!! We opened our doors for all to come & look & buy any of our baked goods on display. Due to so many of you loving the idea & asked when we doing it again, we have decide to do it again (just watch our facebook & website for more info in the near future). See our photos of our day! Fathers Day Saturday Bake Off - 15 June 13

 

Today, Saturday Bake Off Father's day was super as we did Ale Bread & Guinness Cup Cakes. The Ale loaf (with cross on) has a awesome rich ale flavour with white & rye flour this made this bread rich with wheaty hobs taste...it smells mmmm... heavenly! See photos.... with all our other breads done for this bake off!

Guinness Cupcakes.... I must say these were delicious, something different... with the rich chocolate cake with the bitterness of the ale & the sweetness from the cream cheese topping, made this an unique & delightful taste! ....daddy's we hope you loved this!

Mangotsfield Community Festival:

 

We attended this and it was a hit! We sold all our bread and people were coming back for more!  Our Chelsea buns were gone with in the 1st 2 hours ....and we baked loads!

 

Our next Community Festival will be @ Heathfest Bromley Heath on 06 July 2013.
